The story of Data Prism

IT expertise in five decades

Our story begins in 1987, when two buddies from Kuopio put their heads together and wanted to help businesses with computers. The first computer was funded by KOP bank, and after the hard work of learning, they were first programmed with Pascal and Paradox.

Already at that time it was important to have good customer service, versatile features and ease of use. The programs were used without a mouse, the monitors were black and white, the phones had wires and no one wanted to keep the computer in their lap.

In the over three decades, both technology and our company's operations have taken great leaps forward. Even though our heads are now in the clouds and the smartphones are in our hands, the same principles have gone on throughout our business.

Data Prism is software house from Kuopio with over 30 years of experience in implementing easy to use and versatile software solutions.

We provide our customers relief to their day-to-day business by automating and streamlining their operations, reducing the amount of time-consuming manual work and more time for business-critical tasks. Our systems helps to manage their customer, product and order information and so boost their sales, billing, and account management. Software development is carried out in close co-operation with our customers, enabling us to take the customer's wishes and needs best into account.

In Data Prism we have a team of over 20 IT professionals who are not afraid of challenges or new technologies. Our premises are located in “the World's pole” in Kuopio, where we are always easy to reach.

We have been honored to work with professionals from different industries and to cooperate with them for a long time. Our customer base includes operators, event and education organizers, unions and associations as well as tourism companies.
